چکیده
Methane pyrolysis transforming CH4 into hydrogen without a CO2 byproduct is potential production process under the net-zero emission target. The melt of methane technology that could simultaneously obtain and carbon products. However, its catalytic activity stability are still far from satisfactory. In this work, new strategy for to was proposed using Ni foam molten NaCl-KCl. increase in amount found enhance conversion rate 12.6% 18%. optimized by different amounts catalysts, height layer, filling method foam, indicating string reach 19.2% at 900 °C with designed aeration device. Furthermore, we observed addition salt significantly alleviated deposition deactivation maintained macrostructure during reaction. analysis products revealed black be obtained.

Evaluation of process configurations to produce hydrogen from black liquor
Black liquor is the residue from the kraft paper pulp process and consists, mainly, of water, lignin, organic residues from cellulose and hemicelluloses and inorganic matter (mostly sodium, potassium and sulfur). Before any combustion or gasification, the dry content of the black liquor is increased, typically from 14-18% to 75-80%, to permit autogenous combustion and high conversion efficiency...

pyrolysis of date palm trunks to produce active carbon
active carbon is char derived from pyrolysis of organic materials. it has a high porosity level and is used to filter fluids. many types of agricultural materials are used to produce active carbon. the trunk of the date palm, with its low density and high porosity, has great potential for producing active carbon. in this research, the bark was pyrolyzed at 450°c for 60 min to produce active car...

In this study, two Carbon Molecular Sieves using Pistachio shell (CMS P) and Walnut shell (CMS W) were prepared by a chemical vapor deposition method and used for pressure swing adsorption and separation of CO/H2 and CO/CH4. Adsorption isotherms of gases obtained for both CMS’s. The Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherm model was used for comparing pore volum...
متن کاملPseudomorphic Reaction: A New Approach to Produce Bulk Mesoporous Silica as Catalyst Support in Methane Reforming
Pseudomorphism is known as a suitable technique for producing mesoscale pore in silica powders keeping their original morphologies. Herein, silica discs with several millimeter dimensions have been prepared using the same method. This method has been utilized through application of pseudomorphism reaction of preshaped bodies by immersion in a solution containing surfactant and swelling re...
